Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white super tc offers an excellent quality of the imprint in conventional printing methods like like e.g. UV flexographic printing. This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
HERMA PP white super tc is perfect for the production of optically pretentious, glossy, non-transparent labels. The nacreous look of the film adds an exquisite touch to the labels. This BOPP film is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.
The adhesive 62Rpw is developed for applications where the label has to be removed in warm alkaline water. Good results are reached with 70 °C in 1 % alkaline water. 62Rpw is specially designed for PET bottles e.g. for beverages, detergents, cosmetics, personal care which can be recycled in industry-standard recycling facilities. When the bottle is introduced into the recycling process, the substrate is separated from the label and can be recycled cleanly.
Typical uses for this biaxially stretched polyester film are high-speed labelling machines with optical or mechanical scanning.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.

It may be used in small-area, direct contact with dry and moist, non-fatty food, as far as the ratio of the contact surface of the adhesive label related to the total weight of the food does not exceed 0,1 dm²/kg.
