Application and use

The machine-finished surface of the HERMAwhite offers an excellent quality of the imprint with all conventional printing methods. The material is equally suitable for thermo transfer printing and is thus universally applicable.

The pulp for this paper comes from FSC® certified forest management and other controlled sources.

Adhesive 92C is characterized by excellent adhesion to a great variety of surfaces. Thanks to its aggressive adhesive characteristics the adhesive is perfect for polar, unpolar, slightly rough and curved surfaces. The adhesive is perfectly suited for cold-storage applications with very high tack on cold and humid surfaces, particularly films. The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners. Storage conditions

Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.

The shelf life is one year from date of production.

Regulations concerning contact with food

The paper is approved according to the BfR Recommendation XXXVI. HERMAwhite, grade 613, according to the sample material submitted may be used safely for food packaging and may stand in direct contact to dry and fatty foodstuffs (ISEGA Research and Development Institute, Aschaffenburg).All ingredients of adhesive 92C comply with recommendation FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.All ingredients of adhesive 92C comply with recommendation FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.
